Terrain in Motion

Across a steep two-hectare site, water, rock and circulation were designed as one continuous landscape. A pond, two major waterfall systems, paths, stairs, a pergola and a grotto are formed in architectural concrete, with every surface sculpted and painted by hand. Complex hydraulic engineering remains concealed inside the terrain, allowing the composition to feel natural rather than constructed. The project turns a difficult slope into an immersive sequence of water, shelter and changing viewpoints.
